Anthem offers you the ability to set up an online account so you can pay your premium, read your policy benefits, and review how your claims were paid. To set up an online account, visit www.anthem.com and under the section “Member Login” click “Register Now.”
The process is easy to follow, so once you have completed it, you can have access to your account anytime and anywhere. The online premium payment process only accepts personal checking or savings information at this time. Credit cards and debit cards are not accepted for online processing.
To pay your premium by phone:
Call Anthem at 1-800-548-4455 and an Anthem representative can process your payment. Paying your premium by phone allows you to use credit cards, debit cards as well as your checking or savings information.
If you have any payment questions:
When Anthem has completed processing a claim for you, they send you an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) that will itemize what Anthem paid and what you owe. If you have any questions regarding how the claim was processed or the amount you owe, call Anthem at 1-800-548-4455. An Anthem representative will gladly walk you through the claims process.
